Repurpose and Revive
This collection celebrates the super talented women embroiders of rural West Bengal!
Layers of old, excess or repurposed fabrics is held together using a running stich or Kantha embroidery. Each piece is reversible, unique, varying in print, pattern and colour. Keeping the traditional practices of textile creations going strong along with giving sustainable new lease of
life to old fabrics.
This is done by women in rural West Bengal. They work from the comfort of their homes in their free time supplementing their incomes using a skillset which is passed down the generations.
